e-Municipality is launched, Kurti: Transparency and accountability within municipal administrations will be improved

The Ministry of Local Government Administration has launched the e-Municipality service, as part of the e-Kosova state platform. This platform will improve transparency and accountability within our municipal administrations, said Prime Minister Albin Kurti. Furthermore, he stated that these services will enable the citizen to be more active in the decision-making process.

The chief executive stated that digital transformation is a key driver for transparent and efficient governance. In the journey to digitization, Kurti added that no citizen should be left behind.

According to him, this platform will improve transparency and accountability within municipal administrations.

The Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, said that the aim is to empower and support municipalities and create opportunities to provide efficient services to citizens.

In the second phase, Krasniqi added that other services and additional modules will be included.

Even the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Bardhyl Dobra, emphasized that through the development of these services, the transparency and accountability of the institutions will increase.
