Tahiri: The investigative committee should be formed for single-source contracts, 220 such contracts have been signed

The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Abelard Tahiri, declared that there should be a parliamentary investigation in all ministries and public enterprises where there were single-source contracts. According to him, 200 million euros of contracts were signed, in the absence of transparency and avoiding competition.
In an extraordinary session, he called on MPs to vote on the establishment of the investigative committee for single-source contracts signed by the Kurti Government.
Furthermore, Tahiri emphasized that in the research they did as a parliamentary group, they found that there are about 220 single-source contracts worth 153 million euros.
According to him, the abuses are so great that it is a challenge to investigate 11 prosecutors.
Tahiri emphasized that the situation is the same in other ministries, where he added that the parliamentary investigation is important. This extraordinary session is being held at the request of 40 MPs.
