The elections in the north, containers as polling stations
As many times during more than two decades in free Kosovo, the attention has turned again to the north of the Republic of Kosovo.
Among the tensions that have accompanied that part, on Sunday the institutions of Kosovo are determined to organize the voting process to elect the four mayors of the municipalities and in two of them also the assemblymen.
This is the second time in this effort, since in December 2022 the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, influenced by the fragile security situation, decided to postpone the election date for several months, from December 18 to April 23.
This situation continues to remain the same, therefore, the Central Election Commission will not open all the schools in this area that served as voting centers in the local elections of 2021.
