As part of ongoing cooperation, the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, hosted a meeting with the Deputy Adjutant General and Commander of the Air National Guard of the Iowa National Guard, Brigadier General Mark A. Muckey, and his staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the statement, General Jashari thanked General Muckey for the Iowa National Guard\u2019s continuous support in the development and enhancement of the Kosovo Security Force\u2019s capabilities, describing it as a \u201csuccess story\u201d of this type of partnership. LTG Jashari also briefed him on the current developments within the KSF and its important role in ensuring security in the country, highlighting its significant contribution to maintaining regional stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, Brig. Gen. Muckey congratulated LTG Jashari on his leadership and the KSF\u2019s achievements to date, as well as discussing opportunities for cooperation and support from the Iowa Air National Guard in the development of airspace defense capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDuring the meeting, both generals assessed the significant progress achieved by the KSF in developing, modernizing, and advancing its operational capabilities.
