Technical problems with the electricity supply left 50 miners trapped for several hours in the Trepca mine in Stan T\u00ebrg, while some of them have already managed to exit the underground tunnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The news was confirmed to KosovaPress by the president of the Trepca Miners\u2019 Union, Ibrahim Januzi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAccording to the information we have, some of the miners have managed to get out,\u201d<\/em> Januzi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The director of the Stan T\u00ebrg mine, Shyqyri Sadiku, also confirmed the incident, stating that the miners had been trapped since 1:30 a.m. due to a power failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMost of them have come out. Currently, 18 miners are still inside, but we are working to find an alternative solution.
