Starting today, voter registration for citizens outside Kosovo for the June 7 elections has begun, the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Valmir Elezi, has announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elezi said that voters living abroad will be able to register until May 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The early parliamentary elections in Kosovo will be held on June 7, while voting at diplomatic missions will take place on June 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRegistration of voters outside Kosovo will begin today, May 6, and will end on May 17. So, during this 12-day period, all Kosovo citizens living abroad can apply to register as voters outside Kosovo, in order to vote either in person at one of the diplomatic missions or by mail. At the time of registration, the applicant can individually choose how they wish to vote in this election process,\u201d <\/em>he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to this process, Elezi announced that voters also have 12 days starting today to change their polling center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAlso starting today, May 6, the Central Election Commission will enable the change of polling center for voters within a given municipality. So, during this period from May 6 to May 17, for 12 consecutive days, all voters can confirm their assigned address of voting for June 7.
