A banner in support of former KLA leaders currently being tried in The Hague was displayed on Tuesday in Pristina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The banner, placed in the center of the capital, carries the message: \u201cBring home the liberators.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was produced by the organization \u201cLiria ka Em\u00ebr\u201d (\u201cFreedom Has a Name\u201d) as part of a week during which various activities will be launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ismail Tasholli from the platform told KosovaPress that the message of the banner is for the former KLA leaders to return to their homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are now in the week when more frequent activities by \u2018Liria ka Em\u00ebr\u2019 begin. During the march we announced that we would not remain without action, and this is the initiative of a slogan that encompasses \u2018Bring them home\u2019, meaning \u2018Bring them home\u2019 \u2014 where they belong, and for what they stood for, as written on the banner, liberators,\u201d<\/em> said Tasholli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He did not provide details on the upcoming activities but said they will continue throughout the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to him, the idea for the banner had existed earlier, but it was realized after discussions, and the entire process took about two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAs an idea it started earlier, then we had discussions about colors, positioning, and inscriptions. It is a two-week project that was finalized today,\u201d <\/em>he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The banner uses white, symbolizing purity, and blue, which he said has been part of their identity for nearly two decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tasholli also said that citizens he speaks to regularly are frustrated with the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis situation is absurd, and we experience it as such. There is also their frustration, which they often express in our meetings, because they cannot comprehend what is happening.
