U.S. President Donald Trump has praised Kosovo in a letter of thanks sent to former President Vjosa Osmani on the occasion of the end of her mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the letter dated April 8, which Osmani published today (Tuesday), Trump emphasized that Kosovo has played an important role in peace and stability initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have accomplished a great deal together in a short period of time – especially our collaboration on the Board of Peace. Kosovo\u2019s participation in this groundbreaking initiative will play a tremendous role in ending conflicts across the globe, while fostering freedom and prosperity for both of our people,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0the letter states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through this letter, Trump also praised former President Osmani, describing her role as courageous and decisive in service of Kosovo\u2019s citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On this occasion, Osmani said she welcomes continued cooperation in the years ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI thank President Trump for the letter sent at the end of my mandate, which I received last night, as well as for the appreciation of our work!
