{"id":81550,"date":"2026-03-19T16:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-19T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kosovapress.com\/eng\/admin\/?p=81550"},"modified":"2026-03-19T15:34:51","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T15:34:51","slug":"eid-al-fitr-full-program-of-the-central-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kosovapress.com\/eng\/admin\/eid-al-fitr-full-program-of-the-central-event\/","title":{"rendered":"Eid al-Fitr, full program of the central event"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) has announced that the central event for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr in the Republic of Kosovo will be held at the Great Mosque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to BIK&#8217;s announcement, the festive program will begin at 05:03 a.m. with the Fajr prayer, after which a thematic lecture dedicated to this holiday will be delivered by the chief imam of the&nbsp;Council of the Islamic Community&nbsp;in Ferizaj, Ibrahim Beqiri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eid al-Fitr prayer will be held at 06:18 a.m.\u00a0and will be led by the chief imam of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, Vedat Sahiti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eid al-Fitr sermon (Khutbah) will be delivered by the Mufti of Kosovo, Naim T\u00ebrnava, who is expected to address the public with the traditional message of this holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, on the first day of the celebration, March 20, 2026, BIK\u2019s leadership will host the traditional greeting reception at its headquarters, from 09:00 a.m.&nbsp;to 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the announcement, the Islamic Community of Kosovo extends Eid al-Fitr greetings to all believers, praying that fasting, prayers, and acts of worship are accepted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) has announced that the central event for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr in the Republic of Kosovo will be held at the Great Mosque.
