For three years now, the union of the \u201cPrishtina Parking\u201d enterprise says its demands for a salary increase and meal allowances have not been met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During a union protest, members expressed their dissatisfaction with the management of the enterprise over the failure to meet these conditions. Another concern they raised was health insurance, for which money is being deducted from their salaries but is reportedly not being paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The chairman of the \u201cPrishtina Parking\u201d union, Flamur Hajdari, said the response they have received is that the company is facing a financial crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur demands are the meal allowance, the union\u2019s obligations, and half a salary that remains unpaid. We also expect them to take action, otherwise we will continue with protests, and if we achieve nothing, we will also proceed with a strike. We have had these demands for three years. The response for now is that the enterprise is in crisis and we are also in crisis. With a salary of 500 euros at the moment, we are in a very bad situation,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, a member of the union\u2019s presidency, Safet Zuka, said that after the one-hour protest they would continue working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe decided to hold a one-hour protest and we will continue to stay close to our residents and citizens. We will continue working; this is only a way to express our dissatisfaction,\u201d<\/em> Zuka added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The union\u2019s secretary, Drilon Dugolli, also expressed concern about health insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dugolli said they had also requested a meeting with the Mayor of Pristina, P\u00ebrparim Rama, but had not received any response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe have problems with health insurance, which has not been paid for nine months. The funds are deducted, but the insurance is not paid. We have also requested a salary increase, which is essential. We sent Mayor Rama an email with our concerns regarding the enterprise, but we have not received a call.
