The Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, Fitore Pacolli, learned on Wednesday in London how the United Kingdom manages its water resources and protects itself from floods. She also shared Kosovo\u2019s experiences on these issues during a meeting with Minister Mary Creagh from the United Kingdom\u2019s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two ministers also discussed waste recycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDuring the meeting, environmental challenges were discussed and experiences were exchanged regarding water management and flood protection. Special attention was also given to advancing waste recycling and the use of technology for the digital monitoring of national parks, with the aim of increasing efficiency in nature protection,\u201d <\/em>a statement from Kosovo\u2019s ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The statement also noted that both sides expressed readiness to intensify cooperation between Kosovo and the United Kingdom in the field of the environment through the development of concrete projects that contribute to environmental protection and the improvement of citizens\u2019 lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An interesting moment of the meeting was when Pacolli presented two gifts to her host, Creagh.
