The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, after a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani, spoke about the possible dates for holding elections. He said the options are April 5, 12 and 19, adding that his party does not have a preferred date. Meanwhile, he said he will not run for prime minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the meeting, he also criticized the Vet\u00ebvendosje Movement, which refused to attend the meeting called by Osmani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA bad taste was left by the absence of Vet\u00ebvendosje and their governing partners; of course the Serbian List was also absent from the meeting. Their non-participation is incomprehensible. Even when we were in opposition and disagreed with many decisions of the president, the government and various situations, we still represented ourselves in meetings of political parties.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Their absence today, even if they had opposing views to confront and present at this meeting \u2013 which is the highest possible meeting of parliamentary political parties with the president of the country on such a sensitive issue \u2013 is a kind of insult to the country, to Kosovo and to the institutions.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Opposition party leaders have responded to Kurti\u2019s invitations to meetings one by one, and there have often been consultations. His absence and that of those who did not attend today is not right,\u201d<\/em> Haradinaj said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In front of the media, Haradinaj also described as an insult and mockery the announcement by LVV that they will send the president\u2019s decree on the dissolution of the Assembly to the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNo one else is to blame for Vet\u00ebvendosje\u2019s behavior and for what they have brought upon the country. The situation that has arisen is the result of their actions and they should have come to this meeting and expressed their views, even if they were opposing ones.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n As for the dates, the options are April 5, 12 and 19; there may also be other dates depending on developments.
