At the Basic Court in Pristina, a court session has begun in the trial against former CEO of the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK), Nagip Krasniqi, and Isuf Zejna, where the witness Arjeta Saraqi, Strategic Planning Manager at KEK, is being heard. Judge Rrahman Beqiri announced that Albert Shoshi was scheduled to be heard today, but as he is abroad, his testimony could not be taken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe witness, Albert Shoshi, is confirmed to be abroad, so we will continue with the testimony of Arjeta Saraqi,\u201d <\/em>he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nagip Krasniqi\u2019s lawyer, Vyrtyt Ibrahimaga, stated that Albert Shoshi\u2019s testimony is not included in the case file and that they do not know whether he has given a statement to the prosecutor or the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis testimony is not in the file and was not proposed by the prosecution to be admitted as evidence. However, Albert Shoshi was naturally proposed as a witness, but we do not know if he has given a statement to the Prosecutor\u2019s Office or the Police,\u201d <\/em>he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ibrahimaga also submitted an expert report, which the court will consider when it is time to review the material evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Later, Judge Rrahman Beqiri announced that on February 24, 2026, he received a submission from the Special Prosecutor\u2019s Office of Kosovo (PSRK) proposing Ymer Dragusha, who was initially accused when the indictment was filed, as a cooperating witness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the initial hearings held on February 7, 2025, and January 15, 2026, former KEK CEO Nagip Krasniqi and Isuf Zejna pleaded not guilty. In this case, Ymer Dragusha was also accused, but he reached a plea agreement with the Prosecutor\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This indictment from the Special Prosecutor\u2019s Office was filed on December 30, 2024.
