The coverage ratio of imports by exports was 14.1%, KosovaPress reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ASK states that exports of goods in January 2026 reached \u20ac60.2 million, an increase of 0.8% compared to the same period in 2025, while imports amounted to \u20ac426.1 million, a decrease of 10.1%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on ASK\u2019s data, the largest shares in exports were basic metals and articles thereof at 21.9%, followed by mineral products at 11.9%, prepared foods, beverages, and tobacco at 11.8%, plastics, rubber, and articles thereof at 11.4%, various manufactured articles at 9.0%, and textiles at 7.6%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In imports, the largest shares were mineral products at 17.6%, transport equipment at 12.8%, prepared foods, beverages, and tobacco at 11.4%, machinery and mechanical and electrical equipment at 10.4%, and basic metals at 8.1%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding trade partners, ASK reports that Kosovo\u2019s exports to European Union countries reached \u20ac19.0 million, or 31.6% of total exports, a decrease of 15.6%. Key EU partners were Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. Imports from the EU reached \u20ac162.5 million, or 38.1% of total imports, a decrease of 20.5%, with Germany, Italy, and Poland having the largest shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exports to CEFTA countries reached \u20ac27.0 million, or 44.8% of the total, an increase of 11.8%. Main partners were Albania, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Montenegro. Imports from CEFTA reached \u20ac63.6 million, or 14.9% of total imports, a decrease of 23.9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, exports to other countries reached \u20ac14.2 million, or 23.6% of the total, with Switzerland and Turkey as main partners.
