\u201cThe Prosecution itself should be ashamed of its arguments against Selimi; no other conclusion can be drawn from Monday\u2019s submissions or their written file. If the Special Prosecution is not convinced by its own arguments against Selimi, how could it convince you,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Selimi\u2019s lawyer described it as troubling and surprising that the Prosecution has been unable to distinguish between allegations and evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe Prosecution\u2019s inability to distinguish between allegations and evidence is equally troubling at this stage of the trial, and also surprising. Its inability to handle other points related to the \u2018joint criminal enterprise\u2019 highlights the lack of clarity and confidence the Special Prosecution has in its own arguments\u2026 There are so many evidentiary gaps that the court should not rely on them in any way,\u201d<\/em> Roberts said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Selimi\u2019s defense also argued that the Prosecution has changed its narrative against their client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe Prosecution\u2019s inability to distinguish between allegations and evidence is equally troubling at this stage of the trial, and also surprising.
