All citizens heading to the capital today will be able to travel on Urban Traffic buses free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This decision was made by the Municipality of Pristina in support of the march \u201cJustice, Not Politics\u201d and the celebration of the 18th anniversary of Kosovo\u2019s Independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The news was announced by the Mayor of Pristina, P\u00ebrparim Rama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cToday public transport in the capital is free, in support of the march \u2018Justice, Not Politics.\u2019 Pristina welcomes you!\u201d Rama wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the motto \u201cJustice, Not Politics,\u201d a march in support of the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who are on trial in The Hague, will take place today in Pristina at 14:00 at Sk\u00ebnderbeu Square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, since February 9 of this year, the Specialist Chambers of Kosovo in The Hague have begun hearing the closing statements in the trial against the former KLA leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tomorrow, at the Specialist Chambers of Kosovo, the statements of Hashim Tha\u00e7i, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi, and Jakup Krasniqi will continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The KLA four will each have 20 minutes to speak for this entire trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Closing statements began on February 9, when Chief Prosecutor Kimberly West requested 45 years in prison for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The defense teams requested that all of them be acquitted of all charges in the indictment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They stated that there is no evidence supporting the claims of the Specialist Prosecutor\u2019s Office regarding war crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hashim Tha\u00e7i, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi are facing charges brought by the Office of the Specialist Prosecutor, which they have described as unfounded. The defense has also rejected these charges and argued that the KLA did not have an organized command structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
