Meanwhile, according to the CEC\u2019s planning, the completion of activities at the Municipal Counting Centers (MCCs) was foreseen to take place by January 7, but based on the work dynamics, this process was completed by January 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The counting of votes from diplomatic missions and postal voting was also planned to begin on January 7, but it was completed on January 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, the counting of conditional votes and votes of persons with special needs was planned to begin on January 16, but according to the planning, this process may start during the course of today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elezi said that the final results, according to the CEC\u2019s plan, were scheduled to be announced on January 19, but due to the work dynamics, they may be completed earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The process followed by the Central Election Commission for the announcement of final results and their subsequent certification includes several important steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CEC announces the final results only after the completion of the following processes: the verification and counting of results at the Municipal Counting Centers, which has already been completed; the counting at the Count and Results Center of ballots from out-of-Kosovo voting, ballots from conditional voting, and ballots from the voting of persons with special needs; as well as after the review of any possible complaints by the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) or the Supreme Court regarding the administration of the counting process. \/A.
