This was reported by the school principal, Aida Stublla, who noted that by 09:00 around 231 citizens had voted, while a total of 9,136 voters are registered across 10 polling stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe process, as you can see, is going extremely well, with good citizen turnout\u2026 So far everything has been in order\u2026 This time we had planned two information desks, but only one candidate showed up, however I am assisting as the center manager\u2026 So far we have around 231 voters by 09:00\u2026 We have 10 polling stations in total, with 9,136 registered voters\u2026 The turnout is much higher compared to past local elections.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She added that a special team has been assigned to assist persons with special needs, and so far no case requiring assistance within the polling center has been reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor persons with special needs, there is a special team that goes directly to help them vote; otherwise, we have not recorded any cases needing assistance in our center,\u201d said Stublla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interviewed citizens expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the process and hopes for change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Citizen Sk\u00ebnder Xerxa stated that he encountered no irregularities during voting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEverything was very smooth, very good\u2026 There were no irregularities\u2026 From this, we hope the system that has been in place for the past five years, which has drained us of resources and everything, will change in the right direction,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Ardian Pali, who lives abroad, said he came specifically to vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are in Gjakova, but we live in the West; we came especially to vote\u2026 It is a very good feeling, and we hope our preferred political party will win\u2026 We expect something better, God willing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Citizen Ajne Rama also emphasized the importance of participating in the vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI have always voted\u2026 We expect better, we want justice to win, and it must win,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Voter List, the number of citizens eligible to vote at polling stations in the Republic of Kosovo is 1,999,204, while 77,086 citizens are registered to vote from abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electoral process within the country will take place in 948 polling centers, with a total of 2,614 polling stations, of which 910 centers with 2,557 stations will allow regular voting and 38 centers, one per municipality, with 57 stations to enable conditional voting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The voting process at the \u201cYll Morina\u201d School in Gjakova is proceeding smoothly.
