The Central Election Commission (CEC) has accredited the third group of observers, consisting of 276 additional observers, for the early parliamentary elections on December 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In today\u2019s meeting, the Chair of the CEC Secretariat, Besnik Buzhala, announced that a total of 15 organizations have been accredited, reports KosovaPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the third group of organizations accredited by the CEC, a total of 15 organizations were accredited, with 276 observers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The total number of observers accredited so far is 862, representing local non-governmental organizations, international organizations, local and international media, state institutions, and diplomatic missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In today\u2019s meeting, the CEC also decided on the appointment of managers for Voting Centers outside Kosovo, as well as authorizing staff for collecting shipments from postal ballot boxes outside Kosovo and for assisting in the election process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alban Krasniqi, a member of the Vet\u00ebvendosje movement in the CEC, stated that there has been an increase in women\u2019s participation in polling station councils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe received a report from the Election Operations Department, and based on the report, I will mention two specifics that are important to address as part of this presentation. The first is that this time there has been an improvement in gender representation and an increase in women\u2019s participation in these councils. This is reflected both at the municipal level, where representation is better, and among political parties, where there has also been an increase, which is commendable. Additionally, regarding complaints submitted to the PZAP about the representation of political entities in these councils, there were 11 complaints, all of which were rejected by the PZAP, confirming that the CEC\u2019s decision was correct,\u201d Krasniqi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The early parliamentary elections for the Assembly of Kosovo will be held on December 28. The total number of eligible voters is 2,076,290. The number of citizens eligible to vote in polling stations in Kosovo is 1,999,205, while the number of citizens registered to vote outside Kosovo is 77,085.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
