Two cases of ballot photographing were recorded at the \u201cDaut Bogujevci\u201d polling center in Bresje, Fush\u00eb Kosov\u00eb, and two individuals have been detained by order of the Basic Prosecutor\u2019s Office in Prishtina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The manager of the center, Shkurte Bogujevci, said that the first case of ballot photographing occurred around 8:30 a.m., and the second at 10:30 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bogujevci told KosovaPress that several elderly citizens also protested after being denied the right to vote with assistance, as they did not have medical documentation confirming the need for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEverything is fine at the moment; we haven\u2019t had any major problems. There was somewhat of a protest from elderly voters who wanted assistance without a medical diagnosis, but everything was handled properly,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The detained individuals are middle-aged and do not belong to any political party, KosovaPress reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cApart from the two cases we had, the Kosovo Police were notified, and the prosecution is handling the matter. The individuals, both middle-aged, were caught photographing their ballots, and the incident was immediately reported by polling station supervisors to the center manager. The police have now taken over the case,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the manager, by 1:00 p.m., 561 citizens out of 4,784 registered voters had cast their ballots at the \u201cDaut Bogujevci\u201d polling center in Fush\u00eb Kosov\u00eb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere are 4,784 eligible voters, and by 1:00 p.m., 561 have voted\u2026 the number is smaller compared to expectations,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the Basic Prosecutor\u2019s Office in Prishtina announced that in the Municipality of Fush\u00eb Kosov\u00eb, two people have been detained on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of \u2018Giving and receiving bribes related to voting.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Fush\u00eb Kosov\u00eb, 51,110 citizens have the right to vote across 16 polling centers with a total of 59 polling stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
