\u201cToday in Kosovo, as always, elections are treated as a celebration. It\u2019s a good day, a good morning\u2014let\u2019s hope it will also be a smooth and fair process, as the people of Kosovo have always conducted themselves in electoral processes. Today is the day when decision-making returns to the citizen, the sovereign, as it should always be, and thus the fate of our cities and municipalities for the next four years is decided. I am happy with the democratic level that we as a society consistently show in electoral processes. Some things we often take for granted, but believe me, the standards of the Western Balkans, and even Europe, regarding how we organize elections, how we celebrate them, how we accept results, and how we handle the electoral process, are a unique democratic achievement for which the people of Kosovo should be proud. Today is a celebration, November 9 is a celebration, and so will be tonight when the voting process concludes. I am confident everything will go smoothly and fairly. Let us behave properly, let each of us do our part on the right path, and the citizen of the Republic of Kosovo will decide the rest,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding the matter of holding new parliamentary elections, LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku said that tomorrow the focus will immediately shift to the national elections expected to be held at the end of December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFrom tomorrow, I believe we will immediately shift our focus to the national elections, which are expected to take place at the end of December. This will be Kosovo\u2019s next electoral celebration and exercise of democratic decision-making,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
