This project was financed by the Ministry of Infrastructure. Present at the ceremony was the Mayor of Shtime, Qemajl Aliu, who emphasized that the road, which is over 8 kilometers long and cost more than 1 million euros, had been long awaited by residents and was completed within just 8 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aliu thanked the Ministry of Infrastructure, Minister Liburn Aliu, Hysen Durmishi, and the Government of Kosovo for their cooperation in completing this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Petrov. This road has been needed and awaited by residents for a long time, especially since the post-war period. The project started 8 years ago but was never completed until now. This time, after waiting 8 years, we have managed to finish it in just 8 months. We began construction in early February and are now inaugurating it. I would like to thank the Minister of Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, Deputy Minister Hysen Durmishi, and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, who, in cooperation with the Municipality of Shtime, have made it possible to build this road. It will connect all the highland villages, link the Municipality of Shtime with the Municipality of Ferizaj, and enable the return of long-time local residents who, due to the lack of infrastructure, were forced to leave their ancestral lands. Now they are returning to their homes and villages. This road will also help open opportunities for business development, agrotourism, livestock farming, and many other areas,\u201d said Aliu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among those present at the ceremony were many citizens who came to witness the inauguration of the Qaf\u00eb \u2013 Duh\u00ebl \u2013 Topill \u2013 Grajqevc \u2013 Papaz road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Musli Haziri, a representative of the local neighborhoods, said that the construction of the road, which began 8 years ago, marks the fulfillment of a long-awaited dream for the residents of the village. He thanked the villagers for their contribution, especially those who gave up their land without compensation for the benefit and future of Topill\u00eb.\u201cToday we have gathered here to mark an important moment for our village. The road, which began construction 8 years ago, has been a long-awaited dream and necessity for each of us. Today, it is completed and ready to be used by us and the generations to come. On my behalf and on behalf of the two neighborhood representatives, Mr. Bajram Rama and Mr. Liman Muhadini, who are here with us and who have continuously contributed for the good of our village, I express our gratitude. Our contribution is now visible and significant for our community. I especially thank all the residents of Topill\u00eb and Mr. Rasim Reshani from the village of Grajqevc, who showed great understanding and gave their land without compensation for the benefit and future of our village.
