According to the announcement, throughout the day the State Prosecutor received several reports, and after verification and review, it was determined that by the close of the voting process, only two of them contained elements of criminal offenses against voting rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe first case was initiated in the village of Bare \u2013 South Mitrovica, for the criminal offense of \u2018Violation of the secrecy of voting\u2019, where the suspect was released to regular procedure by the prosecutor\u2019s decision. Meanwhile, the second case was initiated in Kllokot \u2013 Gjilan, for the criminal offense of \u2018Violation of the free will of voters\u2019, where the suspect was also released to regular procedure by the prosecutor\u2019s decision,\u201d the announcement states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, it is stated that state prosecutors will continue to be on duty during the counting of votes at polling stations until their transfer to the municipal counting centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOn this occasion, the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor thanks the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, the media, and civil society for their cooperation with the State Prosecutor, with the aim of preventing and successfully prosecuting criminal offenses related to these elections,\u201d the announcement concludes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
