\u201cElection day should be a day of celebration, and I believe that today will indeed be such a day. After a calm and generally constructive campaign, which actually ended in the best and most beautiful way with Albania\u2019s extraordinary victory in football last night, today we are here to exercise our democratic right, something that all citizens should do without exception until the end of the day, when all polling stations close. Because today, together as citizens, we are deciding the next four years for the direction of our city and municipality. I wish everything goes smoothly and well today, and that the outcome will be good for all citizens of the capital,\u201d said \u00c7eku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that today everyone should be respectful and positive toward one another, and he encouraged all citizens to come to the polling stations, exercise their right to vote, and ensure the election process concludes successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cToday, we must be respectful toward one another because it is election day. We should be as positive as possible and encourage all citizens to come to the polling stations, exercise their right to vote, and ensure the best possible conclusion of the electoral process,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the Faculty of Philology, where \u00c7eku voted\u2014polling center number 1906\u2014all polling stations reportedly lacked the statistics book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of this, an alternative solution was found, and the polling station supervisors are recording statistics manually on blank sheets of paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was confirmed to KosovaPress by the head of the polling center, Emanuel Gjolekaj, who further stated that all polling stations opened on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Faculty of Philology has nine polling stations and is considered one of the largest voting centers in Pristina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
