He failed to secure the necessary votes for this position even after three consecutive rounds of voting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Against Elek, MPs from the Vet\u00ebvendosje Movement and some MPs from non-majority minorities voted, while other parties abstained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Serbian List\u2019s second nomination for Deputy Speaker, Elek received nine votes in favor, 53 against, and 41 abstentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNine votes in favor, 53 against, and 41 abstentions; consequently, for the third time, he did not receive enough votes to be elected Deputy Speaker,\u201d said the Assembly Speaker, Glauk Konjufca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is worth noting that on October 8, the Constitutional Court published the full ruling following the Serbian List\u2019s appeal regarding the constitution of the Assembly. The Court stated that the Assembly is not yet constituted and gave MPs a 12-day deadline to complete the constitution process.
