Over 37,000 students begin the new school year today, September 1, in the capital.\u00a0The Mayor of Pristina, P\u00ebrparim Rama, said that classes have begun today in 64 school buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Accompanied by the Director of Education, Samir Shahini, the Mayor visited the \u201cFaik Konica\u201d Lower Secondary School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rama emphasized that schools have also been equipped with digital curricula and smart panels, which, according to him, will make teaching easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cToday, 37,667 students started school in 64 buildings across the capital. This is a proper beginning. As you know, we have prepared digital curricula in every school, as well as smart panels in every classroom. So, whether or not students have books, we are ready with the digital curricula. This is a great support for every child,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Director of Education in the capital, Samir Shahini, said that this year full-day learning has started in 12 schools, including in villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is a massive celebration in the capital. We are happy to be part of it. Every day, without pause, even during summer, we worked. Right here at \u2018Faik Konica\u2019 the full-day learning program began in the capital. Now, from here, we have 12 schools in total, including those in villages,\u201d Shahini stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Principal of \u201cFaik Konica\u201d Lower Secondary School, Jehona Oruqi, said that preparations for a successful school year were made on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She explained that through coordinators, all parents have been verified for subsidies for purchasing books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll preparations were made on time. We started planning back in June, and finalized preparations in August. Now there is an innovation: coordinators. Up until now at \u2018Faik Konica\u2019, all parents have been verified. Today we will know whether everyone has the necessary materials, but even if not, we have digital curricula, so we will begin today. It is a celebration for us. This is the second year of the full-day learning program, and based on last year\u2019s analysis, it proved to be a good initiative. This year, everything has gone according to plan,\u201d she emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
