President Osmani, during her recent visit to the United States, stated that U.S. President Donald Trump had recently prevented a Serbian attack on Kosovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This sparked reactions both in Kosovo and the U.S., where Special Presidential Envoy for Special Missions of United States, criticized President Osmani for what he described as “manipulating” the words of the U.S. president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, during a press conference on Thursday, Osmani was more reserved in her response to Grenell\u2019s remarks, emphasizing that her statements were based on how she understood Trump\u2019s words, not an interpretation of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Head of State said that she values President Trump\u2019s role as a peacemaker and that her statement was more of an expression of appreciation for him in that role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
