In its fifth edition, the\u00a0Rame Lahaj International Opera Festival\u00a0will, for the first time, collaborate with the\u00a0Symphony Orchestra of Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH), with the support of the\u00a0Prime Minister\u2019s Office of the Albanian Government. Considered one of the most prestigious institutions in the country, the RTSH Symphony Orchestra will perform at the\u00a0Gala Evening \u201cRame Lahaj & Friends\u201d\u00a0on\u00a0August 2, under the baton of\u00a0Maestro Roberto Rizzi Brignoli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The RTSH Symphony Orchestra was founded on\u00a0May 16, 1962\u00a0and holds the high honorary title\u00a0\u201cHonor of the Nation\u201d, awarded by the President of Albania in 2017. The creation of this musical ensemble marked a new era and had an extraordinary impact on the cultural and artistic development of Albania. Initially known as the\u00a0Symphony Orchestra of Radio and Cinematography, it was formed primarily by young musicians educated in the country, as well as professionals specialized in various European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Art is the purest form of freedom, and while borders between Albania and Kosovo may exist on paper and maps, they have never been\u2014and never will be\u2014a barrier to cooperation and the free flow of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
