The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has congratulated the United States of America on its Independence Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFrom the most pro-American people in the world: Happy 4th of July, Independence Day of the United States of America,\u201d <\/em>Osmani wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Osmani shared a video from her participation in the celebration of U.S. Independence Day, organized by the U.S. Embassy in Pristina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOn this U.S. Independence Day, we are not only celebrating your history, but we are also honoring how it has shaped ours,\u201d <\/em>Osmani stated during her speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She emphasized that the American people have stood by Kosovo every step of the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTwenty-six years ago, your leadership helped us win our freedom\u2014a freedom that had been denied for centuries\u2014and every year since. Through peacebuilding, institutional development, economic progress, and the strategic strengthening of defense and diplomacy.
