At today’s meeting of the Government of Kosovo, a draft decision was approved to allocate four million euros for insurance policies at border crossings, as part of the \u201cSupport for the Diaspora\u201d measure within the Economic Recovery Package.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, stated that the policy will be subsidized for non-commercial passenger vehicles with up to nine seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, in today\u2019s meeting, a draft decision was approved to allocate over 625 thousand euros to support education and institutional lobbying for Albanians in Presevo, Bujanoc, and Medvegja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Kurti explained, this includes scholarships for students, support for pupils, and funding for lobbying and advocacy activities at the international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs part of the memorandum we have with the National Council of Albanians, we will allocate 625,400 euros to support education and institutional lobbying for Albanians in Presevo, Bujanoc, and Medvegja, including scholarships for students, support for pupils, and funding for lobbying and advocacy activities at the international level… Also this year, as in previous years, starting from July 1st, all diaspora members traveling to Kosovo with passenger vehicles will be able to obtain free insurance policies at any entry border point. The subsidized policy will apply to non-commercial passenger vehicles with up to 9 seats.
