According to KESCO\u2019s statement, \u201cin the most extreme case, this will mean that the entire amount of electricity for consumers in Kosovo will have to be covered through imports.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
KESCO says that despite major logistical challenges and the high cost of energy on international markets, it is making every effort to ensure the necessary supply and guarantee stability in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHowever, importing such a large quantity presents considerable difficulties both technically and financially. To minimize the impact of this situation, KESCO calls on all consumers to immediately apply energy-saving measures,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, according to KESCO, every kilowatt-hour saved helps maintain supply stability and reduces overall costs, \u201cwhich would otherwise burden all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, today the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK sh.a.) announced that unit A3 of the \u201cKosova A\u201d Thermoelectric Power Plant, which was unexpectedly shut down yesterday, returned to operation today, June 19, 2025, around 08:00 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe unit\u2019s return was made possible thanks to the immediate response and professional commitment of the staff at the Kosova A Power Plant, who worked continuously, including the third shift.
