The Covid-19 pandemic and the change of governments are two of the causes that influenced the complete non-implementation of this law. This was said at the Committee on Human Rights, where they met with representatives of the Office for Good Governance (OGG), Save the Children, and KOMF.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights, Duda Balje, said that the Law on Child Protection is being monitored by the committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qendresa Ibra from the Office for Good Governance said that the administrative instructions that have entered into force are being implemented to a large extent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She mentioned the pandemic and the change of government that have influenced the complete non-implementation of the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, Ibra added that there is also an administrative Instruction which has not been approved and is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bukureza Surdulli from the Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection in Kosovo (KOMF) said that during the monitoring they noticed that the Law is not being implemented to a large extent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Law on Child Protection was approved in 2019. \/ Sh.
