From the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the\nchairman Memli Krasniqi received an invitation from the American Congress, as\nwell as MPs Ganimete Musliu and Ariana Musliu-Shoshi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a written response to KosovaPress, Krasniqi\nsaid that he was invited, but due to pre-planned commitments he will not\nparticipate this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I am also\ninvited this year to the National Prayer Breakfast ceremony, but due to\npre-planned commitments, I will not participate this year”, said Krasniqi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, the other PDK MP, Ganimete\nMusliu, confirmed that she will be present at the National Prayer Breakfast ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Yes, I am invited and will participate”,\nconfirmed Musliu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the other PDK MP, Ariana\nMusliu-Shoshi, indicated that she will not be present because the Assembly does\nnot cover the expenses for everyone, as she added that this is a violation of\nthe rights of the MP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She even sent the decision stating that\n“From the budget of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, travel,\naccommodation, participation and per diem expenses will be covered, apart from\nthe expenses of participation, for the second MP, other expenses will not be\ncovered by the budget of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Yes, I am invited, but I will not\nparticipate because the Assembly does not cover the expenses for everyone, as\ncan be seen in the decision, and this is a violation of the MP’s rights”,\nsaid Shoshi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, LDK MP Armend Zemaj received\nan invitation. He said he has participated since 2010, and whenever they are\nheld, he will be there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Yes, I’m a regular there, I’ve been\nnumber one since 2010, also next year, every time it’s held, I just hope to be\ngood, because I will be there”, confirmed Zemaj for KosovaPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the AAK spokesperson, Kushtrim\nXhemajli, has confirmed that the party leader, Ramush Haradinaj, and the head\nof the AAK Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, have received an invitation to\nthis ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Chairman Ramush Haradinaj and MP Besnik\nTahiri will travel to the USA to participate in the National Prayer Breakfast ceremony,\nwhere, among other things, chairman Haradinaj has several other important\nmeetings on his agenda during his stay in the USA”, Xhemajli confirmed for\nKosovaPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
KosovaPress also called the spokesperson of the\nGovernment, P\u00ebrparim Kryeziu, but he did not answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The head of the parliamentary group of Vet\u00ebvendosje, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, did not answer the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
