Although there are still six years until the holding of this great\nsports activity, the volume of work and investments that must be done is very\nlarge, but even further, the institutions responsible for this have not started\nany concrete work on the ground, until they say that they are in preparation of\nthe legal infrastructure as well as the master plan for the Mediterranean\nGames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Deputy Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports, Daulina Osmani, told\nKosovaPress that they are currently working on the Law on the Mediterranean\nGames, the creation of the Organizing Committee, as well as on the feasibility\nstudy for infrastructural investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The vast majority of these games will take place in Prishtina, so the\ndeputy mayor of this municipality, Alban Zogaj, told KosovaPress that over the\nnext four years, 50 million euros will be invested in the sports infrastructure\nin the capital, but also outside of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, the president of the Kosovo Olympic Committee, Ismet\nKrasniqi, admits that the beginning of the preparations is not going to be easy\nat all, but in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports, they will do their best\nin this direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the most voluminous works will be the construction of the\nnational stadium, work which still hasn’t started on the ground, but the\nMinister for Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla \u00c7eku tells KosovaPress that\nthe construction will start in the second half of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
