{"id":65483,"date":"2024-01-01T17:30:36","date_gmt":"2024-01-01T17:30:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kosovapress.com\/eng\/?p=65483"},"modified":"2024-01-01T17:30:37","modified_gmt":"2024-01-01T17:30:37","slug":"one-person-was-wounded-by-a-falling-bullet-and-a-child-lost-fingers-on-new-years-eve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kosovapress.com\/eng\/admin\/one-person-was-wounded-by-a-falling-bullet-and-a-child-lost-fingers-on-new-years-eve\/","title":{"rendered":"One person was wounded by a falling bullet and a child lost fingers on New Year&#8217;s Eve"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>In the Emergency Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK),\nduring the last 24 hours, a total of 290 cases were registered, of which 25\npeople were injured by pyrotechnic devices.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The most extreme cases were a child, who had two fingers amputated, and\na patient injured by a falling bullet, who underwent surgery and is currently\nbeing treated in the Surgery Clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The doctor in charge at UCCK, Avdush Bajgora, told KosovaPress that\nthere are also four cases of eye injury, where two of them, as a result of pyrotechnic\nparticles, have injured the cornea of the eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that this year the awareness of citizens is much greater than\nin previous years, as they have a smaller number of patients injured by\npyrotechnic devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, family members should keep their eyes open,\nespecially for children, so that they are not in contact with pyrotechnic\ndevices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The age of the injured is different, starting from children to 60-year-olds.\/A.Shala\/ <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the Emergency Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK), during the last 24 hours, a total of 290 cases were registered, of which 25 people were injured by pyrotechnic devices.
