The damages were of different levels, not only motor damage,\nbut also health and property damage, because this is the reason why we are here\n&#8230; The priority of an insurance company, in general, is determined and the focus\nis known&#8230; Today SIGAL is ready to insure objects not in millions of euros,\nbut maybe even billions, because the very nature of work with international\npartners is such that we guarantee and insure every type of object and subject\nin the territory of Albania, including aircraft, ships, that we have in\nAlbania&#8230; Today, the number of customers in three countries is over 1.5\nmillion of residents, and the number of employees is over 2.200. We have a fair\nratio and over 600-700 offices in the three states. It is a fair ratio of\nbuilding responsibilities. Our focus is now not only to be close to the client\nphysically, but also online&#8221;, said Ponari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ponari calls the work of over 20 years an\ninteresting story, for which he says that throughout these years they have been\na leader in the insurance market, leading it not only from a financial point of\nview, but also in terms of products in Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He adds that SIGAL UNIQA Group AUSTRIA is one\nof the 50 largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe, while adding that\ntheir focus is to always be close to customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ponari points out that if he performed these\nservices in other countries with a larger population, the company would not be\nwith the current figures, but would reap even more successes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;20 years in Kosovo and over 25 in Albania\nis an interesting story, we cannot say success, because when we say success, it\nmeans that you operate in an environment with many clients. The population in\nAlbania, Kosovo, and Macedonia, where we operate is small &#8211; in the three\ncountries, 6 or 6.5 million inhabitants. If I would have done this work that I do\nwith my staff in Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia, in a country where the\npopulation is high and the number of customers is large, of course the company\nwould no longer be in these figures that it is today, that the total annual\nfigure exceeds 100 million euros and is one of the 50 largest companies in Central\nand Eastern Europe&#8230; This period has been interesting, because we have been a\nleader in the insurance market, we have led this market, not only from a\nfinancial point of view, but also from a product point of view, being a school\nof the insurance market in all three countries\u2026 Our focus has always been to be\nclose to employees, but on the other hand, to be close to customers as\nwell&#8221;, says Ponari for KosovaPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from these, the director of this company,\nAvni Ponari, says that insurance is one of the three pillars of a country&#8217;s\neconomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He emphasizes that disasters, diseases, natural\nhazards, catastrophes are risks that are not avoided, but reduced due to\ninsurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ponari points out that insurance is an industry\nthat has very important values, to which he adds that they are also protective\nof financial values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Insurance is an\nindustry that has very important values, because it is one of the three pillars\nof a country&#8217;s economy. The fact that this industry is quite developed in the\nworld shows that the focus of business, people, governments on this industry,\nbecause after all, it is the protector of financial values and the return to\nprevious positions. Disasters, diseases, natural hazards, catastrophes, are\nrisks which cannot be avoided. They are reduced by their effect, due to\ninsurance. Insurance is what brings back to financial positions any type of\nbusiness&#8230; Insurances are products that are quite cheap and with as little\nconsumption of cigarettes or alcoholic beverages as possible, you can replace\nthis type of consumption with an insurance product. So, you will secure your\nhome, your health, a car, the cattle in the area where you are, the field with\nwheat, apples, grapes from natural hazards, from hail, rain, storms&#8230; This\nstrengthens the personality and dignity of the person&#8221;, said Ponari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, regarding how difficult it is to do\nbusiness in Kosovo, Ponari says that it is easier than in Albania, as according\nto him, there are some positive things and better regulated.
