During an interview for KosovaPress, he said\nthat everything remains to be seen in the future and depending on the political\ndevelopments, he will decide on the next steps, regarding the request of the\ncitizens to initiate the petition about the dismissal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peci, who continues to serve as mayor from an\nalternative office in the village of Kelmend, said that in case of new\nelections, he will lose, although he is not sure if he will run again, because\nas he said, it depends on the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The mayor of the Municipality of Zve\u00e7an also\ntalks about his relations with the government, which he accused of not being\nproperly interested in supporting him in his work from the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to him, the Municipality is facing\nmany difficulties, emphasizing the lack of spaces as the main challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that for these seven months he\nmanaged to fulfill 80 percent of the requests of the citizens of this\nmunicipality without distinction, mentioning public lighting in Banjska,\nfinancial assistance for people with serious illnesses and for babies born this\nyearn cleaning of different roads etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, he added, even though the municipal\nbudget of 3 million euros was sufficient, the Municipality has not been able to\nfulfill all the demands of the citizens until now, due to the short time and\nvarious difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Otherwise, the mayor of Zve\u00e7an, Ilir Peci, together with that of Zubin Potok, Izmir Zeqiri, who come from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, perform their duties from alternative facilities, whereas the mayor of Northern Mitrovica, Erden Atiq and Lulzim Hetemi who leads Leposaviq, both of them from Vet\u00ebvendosje, exercise their duties from municipal facilities. \/A.
