The European Judo Championship “Prishtina\n2023” is approaching, where there are 10 days left until the day when many\njudo stars from all over the world will land in Kosovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding the European judo “Prishtina\n2023”, the coach of the Kosovar team, Driton Kuka, said that this is the\nfirst time that we have such a high level of competition in our country,\nreports KosovaPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The Absolute European Championship is\ncoming to Kosovo! Next week, the World Judo Elite is landing in our capital.\nThe absolute European Championship up to 73 kg for men and up to 57 kg for\nwomen will be held on December 16 in Prishtina! The first time we have such a\nhigh level in our country”, wrote Kuka on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Further, Kuka announced that well-known names\nsuch as Azeri Hajdarov (first in the world judo ranking list) will come to\nKosovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“World No. 1 Azeri Hajdarov, judo legend\nOlympic Champion Shavdatuashvili, Italian Olympic runner-up Lombardo will come\nto Kosovo and Akil Gjakova and Dardan Cena will compete for us, who will be\nmotivated as never before! In the women’s category up to 57 kg, in addition to\nour two Olympic Champions, many World and European medalists will participate\nfrom the World Elite!”, said Kuka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, the coach of the Kosovar judo team said that he expects support from the stands for our champions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
