{"id":64425,"date":"2023-11-30T17:35:21","date_gmt":"2023-11-30T17:35:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kosovapress.com\/eng\/?p=64425"},"modified":"2023-11-30T17:35:22","modified_gmt":"2023-11-30T17:35:22","slug":"the-us-accuses-russia-of-violating-the-basic-principles-of-the-osce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kosovapress.com\/eng\/admin\/the-us-accuses-russia-of-violating-the-basic-principles-of-the-osce\/","title":{"rendered":"The US accuses Russia of violating the basic principles of the OSCE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>Assistant Secretary of State for European and\nEurasian Affairs of United States James O&#8217;Brien has said that his country joins\nother countries that are accusing Moscow of violating the basic principles of\nthe OSCE.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During his speech at the OSCE meeting today in\nSkopje, he said that Russia continues to block the work of this organization\nand is detaining its personnel, violating both their rights and the principles\nof the OSCE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O&#8217;Brien has called on Russia to stop violating OSCE principles, as he welcomed Malta&#8217;s next presidency of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otherwise, diplomats from 57 member countries of the organization are participating in the OSCE summit, including the head of Russian diplomacy, Sergei Lavrov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participation of the Russian diplomat in\nthe OSCE summit has caused many debates and reactions, Russia by participating\nin this summit is benefiting and strengthening its position on the\ninternational stage, despite the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ukraine and the Baltic states, as a sign of\ndissatisfaction, have not sent the Ministers of Foreign Affairs to the\nMinisterial Council.\n\nThe Russian Foreign Minister, Lavrov, held a\nmeeting with his Hungarian counterpart, Peter Szijjarto, on the sidelines of\nthe OSCE summit in Skopje.
