This is what the commander of KFOR, Major General Ferenc Kajari, who will hand over his futies tomorrow, declared. During his 1-year term, there were many developments in the field of security, such as the war in Ukraine or the riots in the north on the night of July 31.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The commander of KFOR, in an interview for\nKosovaPress, admits that the war in Ukraine increased tensions in Kosovo as\nwell, but that these have now decreased significantly. According to him, there\nis no increased security threat to Kosovo due to developments in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kajar says that in general, the security\nsituation in Kosovo is stable, including the northern municipalities with a\nSerbian majority.
