Organizations that care about children&#8217;s rights ask institutions to do more to remove children from the streets, while authorities ask citizens not to give money to children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br> The Kosovo Police, through a written response, confirmed the exact number of child beggars but, according to statistics, fewer have been identified this year compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br> &#8220;The police during the performance of their duties, in the period January-August 2022, identified 175 child beggars.
