During the signing of\nthe agreement on Thursday, which was also attended by the ambassador of Italy to\nKosovo, Antonello De Riu, and the ambassador of Kosovo to Italy, Lendita\nHaxhitasim, it was said that this cooperation will further strengthen the\nexcellent relations between Kosovo and Italy, where free access to news is also\nprovided for the diplomatic headquarters of the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The executive director\nof KosovaPress, Suzana Hashani-Rakoivca, said that the first steps of\ncooperation between KosovaPress and ANSA will be the strengthening of the\nconnecting bridges between our two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Taking into\naccount the development in the economic and political aspect, KosovaPress can\ncontribute a lot, especially against fake news, and it can contribute to help\neach business in the economic and political aspect. These will be our steps of\ncooperation between ANSA and KosovaPress. I wish that we are a bridge between\nthe two countries to help Italian businesses in Kosovo and Kosovo businesses in\nItaly. Also, the embassies will be informed as accurately as possible about the\nevents happening in our countries”, she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the\ndirector of ANSA, Stefano de Alessandri, said that this agreement will bring\nthe two countries even closer, and it will also give the diplomatic\nheadquarters in Kosovo and Italy, free access to the news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that this\nagreement will also create cooperation in the commercial profile, through many\nItalian companies that are present in Kosovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The agreement\nhas two points, one in terms of journalism, which is the exchange of our news.\nKosovaPress will give our journalists direct access to their news. As we have\nseen in many other cases, this is a very important cooperation between our two\ncountries. With this agreement, free access to news is foreseen for the diplomatic\nheadquarters in our countries. While the second part has to do with the\ncooperation activities of the commercial profile. There are many Italian\ncompanies that are present in Kosovo, many of them are our clients, and we will\nbe like a connecting bridge to help their development in Kosovo through\nKosovaPress and vice versa”, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ambassador of\nKosovo to Italy, Lendita Haxhitasim, also expressed her happiness after\nreaching this agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I express my\ncongratulations for this agreement, of course also on the part of the\ninstitutions of the Republic of Kosovo, as this agreement only enriches our\nrelations which are excellent between our two countries… This is very\nimportant in order to face the misinformation and fake news that are made\ntoday, which constitute an attack on the current context in which we live\ntoday. The quality of information above all is very essential, of course when the\nnews is provided by professional and experienced journalists such as those from\nthe two agencies,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, the\nItalian ambassador to Kosovo, Antonello De Riu, said that the agreement will\nfurther strengthen Italy’s excellent relations with Kosovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I am very happy\nto witness this agreement between the two agencies. Today’s agreement defines\nthis cooperation that will be structured. The two agencies have different dates\nof establishment, but they have one thing in common as they were established at\nthe end of two destructive conflicts… The agreement will enable the\ninformation of the two respective countries to be done in a systematic way, and\nto further strengthen the excellent relations between our two countries”,\nhe said.\n\nOtherwise, KosovaPress is a member of the Association\nof the Balkan News Agencies \u2013 Southeast Europe (ABNA-SEE) and has the\npresidency of this organization, and also has cooperation agreements with other\nregional and European agencies.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
