{"id":51439,"date":"2022-09-11T09:42:01","date_gmt":"2022-09-11T09:42:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kosovapress.com\/eng\/?p=51439"},"modified":"2022-09-11T09:42:02","modified_gmt":"2022-09-11T09:42:02","slug":"experts-warn-the-trust-fund-remains-at-risk-they-ask-for-urgent-measures-to-be-taken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kosovapress.com\/eng\/admin\/experts-warn-the-trust-fund-remains-at-risk-they-ask-for-urgent-measures-to-be-taken\/","title":{"rendered":"Experts warn: The Trust Fund remains at risk; they ask for urgent measures to be taken"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Investments of the Kosovo Pension Savings Fund (TRUST) are experiencing the most difficult period this year as a result of the crisis in the international financial markets and this has caused considerable losses of citizens&#8217; savings in our country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Trust has managed to recover\npart of the investments that suffered losses until the month of July, due to\nthe crisis in the global financial markets as a result of the Russian military\noccupation of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The spokesperson of the Trust, Jeton Demi,\ntold KosovaPress that the Trust&#8217;s investments until July fell by 161.6 million\neuros, but he emphasizes that the return on investments has reduced the losses\nto less than 100 million euros by September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although about 60 million euros have been\nrecovered, economic experts warn that the declines considered in the Trust may\ndeepen even further due to the financial crisis in the international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spokesman Demi says that as long as the\ndifficult situation in foreign markets continues, recoveries will be difficult.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Investments of the Kosovo Pension Savings Fund (TRUST) are experiencing the most difficult period this year as a result of the crisis in the international financial markets and this has caused considerable losses of citizens&#8217; savings in our country.
