In his first term, Kurti had respected the tradition that had been established by the institutional leaders in Kosovo to make their first visit abroad in Tirana after accepting office. But he did not do so in March, when he began his second term, despite receiving an invitation from Albania&#8217;s Prime minister. For this reason, his not so good relations with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, are being mentioned.
