The agreement on energy in the north between Kosovo and Serbia, reached on Tuesday in Brussels, is being welcomed by those familiar with the dialogue process. The approval of the roadmap for the implementation of the 2013-2015 agreement is considered that it will establish energy control in the four Serb-majority municipalities in northern Kosovo. However, the ruling party, Vetëvendosje Movement, is also criticized for deception, implementing an agreement it criticized when it was signed by former governors.
The expert of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, Gazmir Raci, says for KosovaPress that today’s agreement is positive for Kosovo and the region as a whole.
