This morning, eight police officers were arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offenses “Abuse of official position or authority”, according to Article 414 of the CCRK, “Ill-treatment during the exercise of public duty or authority”, Article 195, “Exercise of influence” article 424, as well as “Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotic substances”, according to article 267.
The Police Inspectorate of Kosovo (PIK) has announced that the action was carried out in three locations in Prishtina, where various items were confiscated as evidence.
