The Speaker of the Assembly of Albania, Lindita Nikolla, received the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in a meeting today.
After welcoming him to the Parliament of Albania, Nikolla, as it became known, congratulated Kurti for the good work that the Government of Kosovo is doing, as well as patience, calmness, prudence and courageous stance in cooperation with the EU and the USA for the future Euro-Atlantic of Kosovo.
“The Assembly encourages and supports the excellent cooperation between Albania and Kosovo in all fields, and we support the decisions of the Government of Kosovo, as decisions of a democratically elected government and of a sovereign and independent state. The intensive cooperation between the Assembly of Albania and the Assembly of Kosovo is in its best days. We support the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Kosovo and continue to lobby for new international recognitions, membership in the Council of Europe, the UN and international organizations. We support the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia as the best and only way to mutual recognition between the two countries, we think the the European Plan is a good starting point for the dialogue and we support the commitment of the EU and the USA in the implementation of the annex of this Plan . The implementation of the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia will contribute to strengthening stability in the Western Balkans and its Euro-Atlantic perspective,” said Nikola.
