Health workers have again gone on a general strike today, with demands that the Draft Law on Wages go to Parliament as soon as possible and that it begins to be implemented next year. The strike was also held last Thursday.
The Steering Council of The Trade Union Health Federation of Kosovo had requested an urgent meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla and Minister of Health Rifat Latifi, in order for the Draft Law on Wages to be drafted in cooperation with unions and other factors and to be sent to the Assemblz a soon as possible. However, the requested meeting did not take place and today the health workers are on strike again from 07:00.
