Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the Municipality of Gjakova managed to realize 85 percent of the planned budget last year by starting or continuing some important projects. As in the whole country, many businesses in the municipality of Gjakova were affected by this situation, in which case more subsidies than every other year were allocated to this category.
The mayor of Gjakova, Ardian Gjini, in an interview for KosovaPress, said that despite the challenges brought by the pandemic, they closed the year better than they had thought in the spring, when the country was in total isolation in terms of implementing the work plan.
