The chairwoman of the Central Election Commission, Valdete Daka, in today’s hearing of the Constitutional Court, regarding the constitutionality of the election of the Hoti government, said that the institution she leads cannot not certify a candidate for MP, if the ruling does not explicitly state that the right to run has been revoked.
According to her, the CEC would commit a constitutional violation.
